Meet the Team -   Mandi Meer

                               John Meer

Dom is responsible for the development of those of our home bred show jumping stock who are retained for sale at a later date. He is, however, hands on when it comes to all the foals and youngstock having an understanding of the benefit of calm, kind but fair when training youngstock.

He spent 4mnths training with John and Laura Renwick (UK's leading lady rider) honing his skills. He learned a great deal from his time with the Renwick's and regularly puts the knowledge he gained to good use.

Whilst Dom generally competes our own horses, he does on occasion school and/or compete other people's show jumpers. Schooling can take place either at our premises or your own, but competition horses normally stay with us for a while. If you would like to take advantage of his skills and knowledge, together with our facilities, then please call him on 07890 696530

He is a huge asset to Arrathorne SHB Ltd not only in terms of his riding ability, but also because he holds the Advanced Equine Management Diploma and a wide array of qualifications in Land and Grass Management meaning that we are able to ensure that our grazing and fencing is always kept at a premium.

Dom also holds a Class 1 Driving Licence and often steps in to drive other competitors horseboxes around the Country or internationally when required. Again, please telephone him if you need him for this service.
